I got it working on 9.3.3 with lion. Not quite how though but all my problems were with the server but once I got php working everything worked great. Only tested with safari transcoding ---

Hi, everything seems to work but the Download of my files. The streaming link seems to be: while the download link looks like this: http://localhost/plexclient/index.php/download/Volumes/Video/Serien/Breaking%20Bad/Season%203/Breaking%20Bad.S03E01.avi and throws an 404 error, any ideas? ---

Wow! This looks awesome. I’m totally gonna try this when I get home =) Ok, so I tried it and it works great. But it doesn’t seem to work remotely. I saw that someone else had problems with this, is it resolved, and if, how? Looks really promising! I see thought that it hasn’t been updated for a while, how is the current development going? Nice work, but i have problem getting it started, i get the layout etc, with my sections, but when i click on a section it just refreshes the webpage and i still only see the sections. Any ideas? EDIT: OK, got it working now, but cannot get any playback at all, Music (mp3) works fine tho. Anyone that have got it to work with Windows 7 Safari/Chrome/IE9/FF5/Opera? ---

is it at all possible to show maybe a 0-Z across the bottom and let me make that an option to always show sorted? I have a large collection, and some of the pages are nearly impossible to scroll through. Thanks! Love it btw. -Ex ---

i just can’t get it to work. I’ve got mamp running, but i can’t seem to get the php files to run, I’ve setup the files with correct info. but when i got to the link i just get " Directory access is forbidden " and i just can’t get it running pls help running lion with plex. ---

This is some great work. While I’m not a big fan of PHP, I’m impressed by the screenshots. I tried briefly to get it working on Mac OS X Lion but it didn’t seem particularly simple. Ever think of porting it to Rails (half joking)? Some of this stuff will hopefully make its way into the official Plex Media Manager. ---

Hey there, just wanted to drop you a note on how awesome your work is. Running it on ReadyNAS and packed the URL via Fluid → cross-OS Plex paradise. I’ve been trying to install this for the past couple days, to no avail. I don’t really have any programming experience, which might be the problem. I’ve tried to follow all of the instructions, both here and on Github. I’m running OS X 10.6.8 on a MacMini, and have activated PHP by uncommenting out the line in httpd, and its my understanding that OSX has cURL already built in, and I’ve enabled WebSharing. I’ve also edited the appropriate files in Plex-over, but whenever I use a browser to navigate to [http://myIP:32400/PlexOver/index.php](http://myIP:32400/PlexOver/index.php) all I get is a completely blank/white screen. Any help would be much appreciated! UPDATE: I am able to see the menus now and all artwork loads, and I can stream music but I am unable to steam movies. All of my movies are encoded as .mkv and when I select watch, the pinwheel spins endlessly. Also, the plex-media server does not show any transcoding or activity. UPDATE2: I was finally able to get it to work (mostly). For those who may be in a similar predicament, you have to edit the user\_pref.php and change $config[‘video\_transcode’} = false; to say $config[‘video\_transcode’} = true; Now I can stream all of my movies, regardless of format to my laptop and even my HP Touchpad. Now all that’s left is to figure out how to get the movies in full-screen and allow access from outside my home-network… ---

Hi Sonotone, any further progress made here? I've gotten plex\_over installed and working via my intranet, but I've failed to learn how to correctly pass my x-plex-pass & user info. Do I need to encode these values to SHA1? Do I use plain text? Can you provide syntax examples? Last question: Can this php client even authenticate into the new plex media server 0.9.5 or am I just spinning my wheels here? Thanks! ---

I have done a little work on this on my own machine and gotten it to work with myPlex auth. Its not great & doesn’t do discovery via myPlex yet but that is a matter of time but you can connect to a known ip/host with myPlex auth. I may branch his code and get that out to everyone if there is still interest. ---
