I’ve been using Plex for years without issue. Suddenly I get random errors playing back files I can double click on that work in windows. I’ve had files that would play if I started them from where they left off mid movie, but would fail if I try to start from the beginning. Attached log. My PC is acting as the Plex Server. The files are on a synology NAS. DS415 Play

Which version do you suggest I use? I’ve been having this problem for a few months. I kept hoping an update would fix. Is there a known solid working version?

I’m getting an error saying another version of the app exists and to unistall it. Wouldn’t that also uninstall the directory I’m trying to launch this from?

OK. I uninstalled and reinstalled version 1…15.2.793. It did not fix anything. I’ve changed the channel to PUBLIC and updated. Now I have 1.18.0,1944. Nothing has improved.
