# Playback while at work

Hi hoping to get some help/advice while I’m at work and connected to Wi-Fi I can transcode to all options but when I’m on my mobile data I can only choose 2mbps or original
Is there a way I can change this? I have limit mobile data turned off

Get a better cell signal?
I once worked at a place that had really crappy cell service. Perhaps “at work” you don’t have that many bars (there is something ironic about that statement!). What does [speedtest.net](http://speedtest.net) reveal?

1. In the Plex app settings on the phones, check the setting for Remote Streaming Quality.
The default is 2 Mbps. Change it to Maximum.
Android: Settings → Quality → Remote Streaming Quality.
2. Disable Auto Adjust Quality in the mobile Plex apps if it is enabled.
3. While streaming over the mobile network, monitor playback via [Plex Dashboard](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200871837-status-and-dashboard/#toc-1) → Now Playing + Expanded View.
Is the connection Remote or Indirect?
If Indirect, the connection is using [Plex Relay](https://support.plex.tv/articles/216766168-accessing-a-server-through-relay/), which is limited to 2 Mbps, and Remote Access is not functioning correctly between your server and your phone.
