I’d like to ask for the feature that would allow for searching and sorting of playlists. Being able to select what fields act as sortable column headers would be a great tweak as well. ---

+1 need this feature in playlists ASAP. The best way to see what’s in a playlist at a glance is to be able to sort by artist or album. I suggest keeping a column with numbers for each track corresponding to the order added to the playlist and allowing sorting via column headers. ---

The playlist feature is incomplete without the ability to SORT and SYNC. ---

Agree. Could be exactly the same view used for the Mood filter for music tracks, which is great ---

Agreed here - really difficult to navigate lengthier playlists without a sorting option. ---

+1 for this. How am I supposed to tell if I’ve already added songs to my playlist without sorting? I don’t even understand why the interface is different from a normal library list, just use the same code to display the data. ---

PLEASE make playlists sortable. I’m blown away that a playlist editor in 2018 cannot sort. Such a basic ability really needs to be addressed. +1 ---

+1 for this. A music playlist must be at least sortable. I have ~700 songs in my playlist and I cannot sort, filter or search them 🤔 ---

+1 too, it’s must-have feature, also if i sort something by date added, it should persist when closed/reopened plex. now it won’t do this in library, where it should. ---

I wonder why playlist don’t have any sorting capabilities yet. The simplest most helpful thing for me would be sorting by date added DESC. Since I have very long playlists and usually want to listen to the most recently added songs I always have to scroll all the way down and wait until the list is loaded. ---

I would like to have search in playlists. Sometimes I want to remove a song from a playlist the fastest way would be to search and destroy. ---

+1 Smart playlists particularly need columns for sorting to be fully effective. For instance, I’ce created a smart playlist for most played tracks using play count data, but there’s no way to sort the playlist by play count to have the most played at the top, let alone see the play count for each track. So yeah, we need columns and sorting, please ---

+1 for basic sorting in music playlists and searching. It’s nearly impossible to find a particular song (if you want to start shuffling from that song, for example) in large playlists without sort and/or search. ---

Wasting your time, people have been pleading for basic playlist functionality for literally years and Plex doesn’t give a damn. They don’t even bother answering the posts, it’s unfortunate their’s not a legitimate contender out there or I would be gone in a heartbeat. ---
