Although it’s available on Android TV, I can’t find the category in my nvidia shield TV pro… though the LG app and my ATV plex client display it. So I’m assuming it’s either not available on that plex client (WHY NOT), or I’ve lost my mind trying to change the plex client config!
If enabled but not pinned on home screen then if you click on MORE at the bottom of home screen library list sidebar you should see all servers and sources and it will be in the source called Plex at the bottom of the server list where you can pin it to home screen
The Shield comes with a prehistoric version of Plex pre-installed.
If this is a new Shield device, open the Google App Store app and let it search for updates.

done - that got me Live TV pinned to PLEX
My Web version shows it is enabled - hence it shows up on Web, iOS and LG TV clients. But MORE on the Shield is showing on PLEX only Live TV (which is PINNED), Web Shows, Podcasts and Music. I don’t see how to find the unpinned categories (ie Movies & Shows). I still trying to figure - is it me, or the Shield, with a problem?
