Due to the fact that the addon is not developed anymore after 0.1.6 could at be probably released on github under GPL ? We could than implement a Python3 Version…

Plex for Kodi is a bit different than the original Plex Plugin. And yes there are users who likes the Plex plugin more than the plex for kodi approach.

Not sure what you mean. They are one and the same, AFAIK.  
Don’t confuse this with PlexKodiConnect, which is indeed totally different.
