Plex Alexa - Possible to use Amazon Echo as output device in app?

Hi,
i’m thrilled to see the german alexa app finally coming out. Voice commands work like a charm and playing music from my Echo is possible if I control my voice. But I miss a crucial, easy to integrate feature, to be able to control the played music by the plex app. Meaning I would like to select e.g. a song via app on my phone and to be able to select the Amazon Echo as player device? I thought this would be possible with the skill and now I’m a bit disappointed as this was my primary use scenario for the skill. Voice commands, honestly are of secondary importance to me.
Any plans to add this feature (which should not be rocket science and is language independant)?
Thank you and best regards

I just did a test and believe it’s what you want. I have music on my Plex. I paired my phone 1st to the Echo, then played music or playlist from Plex and was able to use voice commands to skip, pause and resume music from Plex.

Hi Busaman, thank you for your reply. I fear that your proposed solution does not solve my problem. Assuming you meant bluetooth pairing with “pairing” this is exactly what I want to avoid. Before plex skill I was already able to pair my phone with alexa by bluetooth playing music via the plex app. Bluetooth paring solution has the big disadvantages that once I move away to far from the speaker the music stops, my family cannot control it with their devices and i cannot take phone calls from my phone.
What i always looked for is to use amazon system like a chromecast which I can stream music to controlled by the app. (It works with the skill but only controlled by voice). Does that make sense?
