# Plex and Internet?

Hi all  
I have the plex server for when i loose internet from storms and such it happens for long periods of time when it happens so its out today i started up the server and i got it needs internet connection to work really What is going on with this, its for my TV’s to stream movies i have on a hard drive what changed and does anyone know how i can fix this i do not use flex tv or anything like that
