# Plex Android app can't find the server when they aren't on the same network

Server Version#: Version 1.24.5.5173
Player Version#: 8.25.1.28703
For some reason, as of two days ago, my phone can’t access my server remotely. If I turn WiFi off and connect via mobile data, there’s no connection to the server and no content. If I turn WiFi on again (I’m at home), everything connects fine. Nothing was changed within settings within the time this started happening. And I’ve updated the server to the latest version. What could be happening?

ok, thanks to someone moving the post to th tcorrect thread, I found the fix in the other, longer post about the same issue:
> You could also get it replaced by disabling secure connections and then restarting the server and then enabling secure connections again and restarting the server. A new certificate should be issued
This worked for me
