# Plex Android Auto with blank video

I guess this is as good a time as any for me to ask for Plex Android Audio Cast (ie SiriusXM like capability for Plex based content) support.
The idea would be to simply drop the video in favor providing a semi static title/channel info with the standard audio controls so we can listen but not watch Plex exposed video content even OTA Live TV without dealing with US laws and Android Auto API constraints or hacking… The feature would be great at work (for a low bandwidth mode) and also while driving keeping us safe from ourselves as we would have a playback mode that only sends the audio stream component of a video stream.
