# Plex app crashing on macOS - QtWebEngineProcess quit unexpectedly

Server Version#: 4.136.1
Player Version#: 101.0.223
Ever since updating to macOS 15 beta in June, I have been unable to use the Plex app for macOS due to the app crashing from something called “QtWebEngineProcess”. I have tried a complete uninstall and reinstall.

Hello anyone find a way to fix this because this week my Macbook will also not open Plex and I get the same error as the TC.
If anyone know how to fix this please let me know. Thanks in Advance

Anyone can help with this? over a week since this issue started and still Plex won’t go past the logo.

Similar issue - mine seems to be GPU related. Used to work just fine on a 2019 13" MBP, onboard graphics + a Radeon RX570 in an eGPU enclosure, but now I’m getting the below error on repeat when trying to open - Plex Player app is stuck on logo screen.

Update: Did some more digging, and after adding the plex.ini fix as indicated [here](https://forums.plex.tv/t/blank-screen-on-2013-mac-pro/791988/16) (Adding “disableGPU=1” in the “General” section), the app is loading as expected.
