Since this mornings Plex App update 6.13.6 I can no loner play 4K content (all other media is playing normally) on 3 of my devices, (Shield and 2 AirTV's). I get error "Playback has stopped , connection to server is lost ". same files played last night fine before the any of the newer updates. Same 4K files also work on Vizio Tv Plex app (which has not been updated) and VLC app. Running Plex media Server beta version 1.11.2.4772 on Windows 10. I know I saw people having issues last night but seems as 6.13.6 has resolved them for many users but I am still having issues.

I’m getting this as well with 6.13.6.x, in addition to the stutter/freeze problem, it keeps “losing connection” on my Shield, even with low bitrate 720p content. That’s a new development, and not something I’ve had happen before.

Would you be able to grab some logs and a sample of a video that shows the issue and we will investigate ASAP!

Could you grab the logs from the Android client? Enable Network Logging in the settings, then play some 4K media that won’t play and grab the output from the logging endpoint, details here: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201573117-Android-and-GoogleTV-Logs
