# Plex Binding for Home Automation

Hello,
I'm looking for a interface to connect Plex Client to my home automation (openHAB). openHAB is a home automation platform, which supports http requests or extra developed bindings.
Is there a developer, who is able to build a binding, which connects Plex to openHAB (www.openhab.org).

I'd like to do the same, I've come this far:
play/pause works via http:
http://:32400/system/players//playback/play
http://:32400/system/players//playback/pause
you can get the status via:
http://:32400/status/sessions/
this will get you an xml document which then needs to be mapped via xslt mappings. this is where I fail...
I would like to extract whether something is playing, maybe the title and also which client

It would be epic if they would do a plugin that would let you set cues for hue etc in the file metadata…
