# Plex cannot read external drives on Mac Ventura

Have just upgrade to iMac 24 inch running Ventura 13.2.1. I have installed latest version of Plex and it cannot read any external drives. Any advice?

Its a mac permissions issue, you need to give Plex USB access

You will need to go to:

System Settings:  
/ Privacy & Security/ Files and folders/ Plex Media Server/ Enable Removable Volumes
