I get this massage shaka1001 (network) when I select a Channel or all Chanels. know how to fix it?
“Shaka” errors are shown when there is an issue with the Plex Web app (browser interface) media player. Channel plugins just access the media. The various Plex players control media playback.
You should review the READ FIRST: Guidelines for Posting Channel Plugin Issues/Questions and Things to Check First thread pinned to the top of this section of the forum which provides basic things to check (like ensuring you have an Internet connection and the website media is not region-restricted) that may be blocking access to the media.
The “Why won’t any of the videos play on one or more of my channel plugins?” section of the Frequently Asked Questions for Channel Plugins thread also pinned to the top of this forum provides the most common causes of media playback issues in channel plugins.
After reviewing the documents above, you can also attach your plugins system log (
com.plexapp.system.log) and someone here can review it to ensure there are no errors shown blocking access to the media. See Channel Log Files
But, if there are no errors in the plugin system log, then Shaka errors are an issue with the Plex Web app player. And as stated in the threads linked above, Plex player issues would need to be posted to that section of the forum (the Plex Web app section of the forum).
