# Plex Compiling

Hi,  
  
I have followed the How to Compile wiki for Plex but I am getting the following error on compilation within Xcode right at the end of the process:

```auto

library not found for -lmad.0.2.1

```

  
  
This comes during the linking stage at the end. How can I resolve this?

Looking closer I believe it has something to do with the libmad.0.2.1.dylib library. However “sudo port install libmad” says that libmad it is already installed.  
  
  
  
I’m guessing there is a version issue?

MacPorts seems to download libmad.0.2.1 but renames it to libmad.0.  
  
  
  
A quick redirection to this in Xcode’s Targets sorted this.
