Server Version#: 1.25.2.5319

My plex sever, running on windows keeps crashing. I’ve attached the logs, sorry verbose logging was on. I’ve turned off verbose logging and can re-enable it if necessary. Attached are the logs from this morning, when plex crashed twice.

Any help would be appreciated.

Plex is crashing every 2 or 3 days. I can tell when it’s getting close to crashing because movie posts stop loading in my library.

Here’s an example of the postings failing to load. On the web browser the posters are loading fine for anything I’ve viewed in the last 24-48 hours.

But the desktop app (Version 1.39.1.2763-300bb607) I haven’t used in a few days. When I go to the home screen the posters aren’t loading:

I’m guessing my server will crash in the next 12 hours.

As predicted plex crashed again.

Crashed twice today, and it was was relative close together. I noticed it might be happening after a particular user stream from me with an apple TV.

Any help is very appreciated. I’m really hoping to get a response. Let me know if I’m not uploading something you need.

I’m still seeing crashes on Version 1.25.3.5409. I noticed this happening when an apple TV is streaming from my Plex server. I was at my computer when it just happened. CPU spiked to 100% fans went crazy and plex crashed.

I am seeing this happen as well, whenever a user streams to an Apple TV it crashes my server, without fail. It works fine with other devices, such as an iPad & Shield TV Pro (latest).

1080P SDR TV / 1st Gen Apple TV 4K

I believe they’ve tried streaming SD/HD & 4K HDR (hw transcoding enabled, hdr tone mapping disabled, max quality on server & ATV) and it crashes the server consistently.

Mine shuts down every couple of days, meaning I have to force the bloody thing to work again on the Plex only PC I have under the stairs.
Remember the days when Plex used to be good…?

I’m on Version 1.25.5.5492 and so far plex seems more stable. I’ll post next time I see a crash.

I’ve been having this same issue happen for a couple of months. Initially I rolled back to a prior media server version and it fixed it but then eventually the server updated and the problem returned. Frequency has gone from once every several days to seemingly daily. Like you, I can also tell it’s going to crash soon because my posters stop loading on Plex web. I’m seeing a handful of posts on the forums referencing similar issues lately but no one seems to have a solution. I can confirm it’s still crashing on 1.25.6.5577. I’m hoping a update will magically fix this issue without me having to wipe my installation. I’m resorting to a scheduled task killing and relaunching the process every morning in the mean time.
