# Plex creating duplicate entries for actors

Server Version#: 1.25.1.5286  
Player Version#: 1.39.1.2763-300bb607

I have added the second part of the Mockingjay movie for Hunger Games and instead of the system adding it in, it sort of created duplicate entries for all actors, so now I have this for all of them:

They all have such duplicate entries and if I choose anyone of them from this movie, they they appear as if they are only in this one movie.

If I select the “other” one, then I get the rest of them:

I have cut out the folder of the movie from the storage location, deleted the movie off Plex, and then dropped it back. The folder is named: The Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 2 (2015) [1080p]

How can I remove this corruptions and get it to identify the actors appropriately without duplicating them?

OK, that fixed it, but it is weird that the link said that this is something that happens automatically every X days. This movie was added in March and I never saw it in my library and forgot about it and today I happened upon it. So since March, it was just there, going unnoticed in its duplicate state 🙂

Think the automatic comment was in reference to optimisation of the db. The metadata refresh would need to be done manually from my understanding.
