Hi Guys
Had this installed from when it first came out.
It does not record any historical data in any area.
I have watched some 15 movies this month it shows only 1

I know this might sound silly… but have you watched those through Plex?
If the items show in your server’s play history, they should also show in Plex Dash – except maybe you have applied some filter (e.g. for a certain timeframe or user).

Where are you looking for that data?
The central tab (`top charts`) can be filtered by user and time (via the `⋮` context menu at the top-right corner).
You will find the full history using the most left tab (`now playing`) by clicking the `history` button (top-left).

Just trying to rule out some confusion or to pin down the issue. I’m seeing all historical data via Plex Dash.

To be clear: Plex Dash doesn’t record usage data on its own. It does access the same data on your server as the Dashboard page in the web app does.
If the two are showing different things, you should check first if there are any filters engaged, like “by user”, or “time frame” etc.

What do you see when using the dashboard / watch history using Plex Web?

Can you click on `View Full History` next to the `Play History` header?
The data between the play history in Plex Web and Plex Dash matching is to be expected… I was under the impression Tautulli was using the same data.

If your server is indeed not showing / storing that data – can you have a look in your [server logs](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/) to see if there’s a reason causing this? Could be a more substantial problem with the database (e.g. corruption).

Try removing the 30-day filter from the now-playing dashboard.
