Plex displays shows and movies that are not mine

I just installed Plex, and it went through the setup wizard, and I setup my own TV shows folder with a couple of shows in it (properly named).

When I launch Plex, it just shows TV shows and movies from the internet. I can’t find any of my shows.

Documentation for agents, at least on this page, is not accurate at all:

I launch the plex server here:
http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html
Then click “settings”, but there is no “plex media server” in the sidebar, and no “agents” either.

I’m completely lost. please assist.

Go to:
Server/Settings/Online Media Sources - Disable All.

Hi @JuiceWSA - thanks, however, that option doesn’t appear to exist. please see the screenshot attached.

Also, I’m not opposed to viewing these external sources, I just want to know where to view my library.

To me more precise go to those server settings mentioned via Plex.tv
I don’t think they show up accessing the server locally.

Local is where I got that image above.

It’s a rare case indeed when I use the hosted app.
Rare like ‘Winning The Lottery’ Rare.

Online Services is an Account Function - not a Server Function.
@asiajason was scrolled down too far, looking for them in Server Land.

Yep you’re right. I was sure in the past some of that disabling stuff required Plex.tv but regardless, it’s clearly not the case now.

I did find it - i’m new to the interface, and i was looking too narrowly under “settings”.

I’m mostly setup now, but still have a few kinks i’ve been trying to work out but unsuccessful at - but i’ll start another thread

It did. Managing “Movies & TV” requires a minimum version of Plex Web. At some point the version bundled with PMS was updated and met the minimum requirements. Not sure of exact version numbers or dates, but I think it was fairly recently.
