Server Version#: 4.29.0 Hello, I have a problem with plex since las week. Plex worked perfectly but one day I had a crush with I/O filesystem HDD. It was a system problem, not a physical problem so I could resolve the problem. After this, I reinstall plex and everything goes fine, except that if I put episodes inside TVSHows library plex doesn’t find anything. Instead, if the same files I copy without the folder Plex goes well. I tried to copy the episodes inside this folder structure and created another TvShows but I had the same problem, plex doesn’t find the episodes inside folder. Check your file names. TV show file names must use sXXeYY naming. For example: /Evil (2019)/Season 01/Evil (2019) - s01e01 - Genesis 1.mkv ---

Hello, Thanks for the answer. This is not the problem because, as I told before, if I copy the exact file outside the folder, Plex find them. And of course the name of the files are correct in the way that you told me. I think that there is a problem with the folder and maybe database who thinks that anything change when I put the files inside the folder. Have this sense? Thanks ---

I had a similar problem on two different **Plex Media Servers** on different Operating Systems and this is what fixed my problem on both servers. Good afternoon, I did both recommendations, and finally it works, I think that the real solution is the name of the files. In my case, I hadn’t the name in this format " - s01e01 - " I hadn’t the spaces between the “-” so Plex didn’t work. Certainly, Plex is sooooo strictly with the names.
