Server Version#: 1.18.9.2571 Player Version#: - The most movies get the correct meta data and movie posters. But sometimes I need to make the assignment of a movie by hand. Thats not very hard. But I have a problem with two movies: - Joker - Birds Of Prey: The Emancipation Of Harley Quinn Plex fetches the right meta information (description and so on) from ‘the movies database’. But the movie poster doesn’t appear. But the source has these poster information. The downloading of the meta data needs a lot of time. Does somebody has an idea? ---

Mine was doing this as well. Use the FIX MATCH option…You may get more than one HIT. Mine was doing it as I had my FILENAME wrong. Some of them are CASE SENSITIVE (for example I had ‘12 Years A Slave (2013)’ - and it Failed every time… changed to the way it was listed on IMDB ‘12 Years a Slave (2013)’ and BINGO - worked.) ![image](https://global.discourse-cdn.com/plex/original/3X/c/e/ce774156aca3634470d8d3d50694b82136a4e725.jpeg) _bh_ ---

I already used that function. And yes I find the entry for the movie. So plex catchs meta information like the title and the description. I can choose a other one. This is happening to myself and most of my friends. Something somewhere broke in the last 48 hours. I’ve been having this problem with new library entries since yesterday. Metadata comes through 50% of the time, but no posters. ---

Just restart your server (by exiting whatever you host it on) then rescan all metadata ---

Restarting server and re-scanning did not work in my case. Even rebooted PC and no dice ---

Don’t rescan… that won’t work. Instead, click the 3 dots, manage library, refresh all metadata. That will scan everything and should work. Please let me know how it goes, that’s how I fixed mine. Also, just make sure you are running the neatest version, just in case. Also also, this issue was fixed. I read it in another thread as there were several people having the same issue. ---

Having the same problem. I can verify that this is an issue with the Linux server specifically, since my Windows one downloads all movie posters with no problem. The Linux one, however, does not download all the poster art. (Most do, but around 10% don’t.) Yes, even for movies that are properly matched. Yes, even after refreshing the metadata. Yes, even after the most recent Plex update. Obviously, I can track down each individual movie online and upload them one by one. But there are perhaps a hundred movies I’d have to do that for. And if Windows Plex works on its own, why doesn’t Linux? ---

For some reason my Plex Server does not load any movie posters whatsoever. TV Shows are perfect and so is Music but no matter what, It just will not load one movie poster or thumnail for **films**. All I see are random snapshots from the movie in question. Followed the instructions about directories and naming convention, all to no avail. It smells of a bug somehow. Setup: Ubuntu 19.10 out of the box. Latest PlexPass version. Anyone else seeing this? ---

Fritzbox Cable, login to your Fritzbox, in the land hand menu bottom choose something like “topics” (Inhalt), navigate to "FRITZ!Box Support“ and look for some “Package Hardware Acceleration” Settings.
