# Plex DVR only records when I am watching

I have my Plex server on an Nvidia Shield TV. The DVR function has been working for me in the past but i recently reset it all and now when I set shows to record they will not record unless I am watching them. For example, I will set an NFL game to record and start watching a half hour into it. When I start watching, that is when the recording begins and nothing before that will be saved. Anybody have any ideas why this would happen?

Could you get screenshots and logs?  
screenshots to show the recording schedule and then logs after the recording starts
