# Plex fails to find certain episodes

Server Version#: 1.32.5.7210  
Plex will not find episodes if there is a “-” in the episode name. For example the following Episode is ignored by the scanner: Serien\Schillerstraße {tvdb-79834}\Season 04\Schillerstraße - S04E13 - Das Tai-Chi-Video.mkv  
If I rename it to Schillerstraße - S04E13 - Das TaiChiVideo.mkv the file is found and matched correctly. I am using the new Plex TV Series Scanner

I assume your library has been pointed to `J:\Serien\` and not a single level above, nor below it, right? i.e. you did _not_ add this show individually to the library

Go to the top level of this show (by clicking on its title).  
“Edit” it,  
go to the “Advanced” tab  
set the “Episode Ordering” to “TheTVDB (Aired)”  
Save

Wait a few minutes. You may have to “Refresh Metadata” of the whole show.  
See if that changes anything.

I’m guessing it’s because your filename ends in `-video` which is a reserved suffix for extras, so it’s getting recognised as an extra and ignored.

I’d probably work if you just change the last character to something else, or append something afterwards, e.g.

`Serien\Schillerstraße {tvdb-79834}\Season 04\Schillerstraße - S04E13 - Das Tai-Chi-Videö.mkv`  
oder  
`Serien\Schillerstraße {tvdb-79834}\Season 04\Schillerstraße - S04E13 - Das Tai-Chi-Video[x].mkv`
