**Plex for Android 8.28.0**

Available on [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.plexapp.android) and the [Amazon App Store](https://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/dl/android?asin=B004Y1WCDE).

**NOTE:** We are performing a staged rollout, which means the update may take a day or two before it becomes available.

**FIXES:**

- Player: prevent content getting stuck after advert playback.
- Player: upgrade ExoPlayer to v2.16.1.
- Downloads: improve download speed when downloading onto external storage.
- [Mobile] Live TV: setting recording offsets would cause a crash on Android 12.
- [TV] Navigation: focus would jump up when opening sidebar.
- [TV] Background tasks would start too frequently.
- [TV] Preplay: use correct icon for ‘play trailer’ icon.
