# Plex for Kodi compatible Skins

Hei there

I love the kodi plex addon as I have a plex server but the plex app sucks balls sometimes. Now I would like to run a skin ( I personally like Eminence and Amber) but both do not seem to work with the addon. The streams wont even start. They do with the normal kodi skin tho. Anyone knows wich skins are compatible with the Addon?  
I am on Android TV with the ShieldTV as device

Have you tried the PlexKodiConnect addon? That way you can use any skin.

Yeah I thought about it. But to sync my entire library would take too long and I generally like addon.

I found PlexKodiConnect to be quite quick. But I suppose it does depend on the size of your libraries.

Quick update

I had to stop using the kodi addon all together. On my shieldTV streams are just buffering from the first second on. It is definitely an addon problem as the same files play fine on the plex app.

What a shame
