# Plex for Smart TVs & TiVo

While webOS 2.0+ UHD devices have been receiving regular updates, it’s been a while since there have been updates to other TV platforms. With that in mind, we’ve updated our [supported platforms](https://support.plex.tv/articles/204080173-which-smart-tv-models-are-supported/)article to indicate which platforms are currently in active development and will continue to receive updates moving forward. Other, unsupported platforms will continue to be able to connect to a Plex Media Server and play content for now and may occasionally receive small updates, but will not be updated regularly or receive new features and are no longer considered to be actively supported.
