Server Version#: 1.25.3.5409
Player Version#: 1.39.1.2763-300bb607
[crash\_dump\_log.zip](https://forums.plex.tv/uploads/short-url/4fQJmcNwE9rUWE1cJLuti7jnDlZ.zip) (3.8 MB)

### Test environment

PMS Version: 1.25.2.5319
PMP Version: 1.39.1.2763-300bb607
Windows 10 Home, Build 19044 (latest; no updates available), Lenovo Legion 5 Pro, Nvidia GeForce Game Ready-driver version 497.29

### Steps to reproduce

1. install Plex-1.39.1.2763-300bb607-x86\_64.exe on Windows x64 from [https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/#plex-app](https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/#plex-app)
2. double click plex icon

### Current behavior

1. The GUI never shows up, there is no error message.
2. Plex.exe shows up in task manager for a second and then just disappears.
3. A crash dump ist created under C:\Users[user]\AppData\Local\CrashDumps on each start
4. [This](https://support.plex.tv/articles/207338748-plex-media-player-logs/) support article’s path (%LOCALAPPDATA%\PlexMediaPlayer\logs) is not available but %LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex\logs is, so I included these logs

### Expected behavior

1. Plex Media Player Interface should show up

### what I tried

1. unistalling PMP → reinstalling
2. restarting the machine
3. starting plex.exe as administrator
4. Analysis with Microsoft’s DebugDiag Analysis Tool → result: contact Plex Inc.

As this is a fairly new purchase, I did not have the chance to test an earlier version of the app.

I have the same issue. The version I used before this one worked, and then didn’t. I then uninstalled that version, installed “Plex-1.39.1.2763-300bb607-x86\_64”. Plex app tries to start, dies. Nothing in the log appears to be wrong. Rebooted. No dice.

Dropping back to “Plex-1.35.1.2632-c6783c78-x86\_64” and it works.

I can confirm that 1.35.1.2632-c6783c78 is working fine. Version 1.39.1.2763-300bb607 still crashes.

In case someone else needs that specific version: [https://downloads.plex.tv/plex-desktop/1.35.1.2632-c6783c78/windows/Plex-1.35.1.2632-c6783c78-x86\_64.exe](https://downloads.plex.tv/plex-desktop/1.35.1.2632-c6783c78/windows/Plex-1.35.1.2632-c6783c78-x86_64.exe)
