# Plex Forum Use -- Move & Delete Posts

How can a post be moved from one Plex forum/category to another? One option might be to repost the entry into a different forum and delete the original, begging the question, how can a post be deleted?

Best option is to change the title of the thread or ping one of us ninjas or plex staff. I usually try and avoid actually deleting threads, better to just close them.

Thanks for mentioning options. Does changing the title move a post to a different forum/category? If not, then it sounds like there may be no way for a user/poster to change a post or thread’s forum, nor for users to delete their posts, without having admins/others do it for them.

It does not. Just makes it stand out so that we see it and can take care of it.
