Plex freezes after fast forwarding.

I’ve been having this issue for the past few months and it’s gotten to the point where it’s happening to almost every video.

I tend to fast forward any tv shows past the opening song so i usually fast forward to about the 3 minute mark, for some odd reason after fast forwarding and trying to hit play the video refuses to play… I’d have to back out of the video and play it from the beginning for it to resume.

Has anyone had this issue or some sort of resolution?

tl:dr - tv shows don’t resume after fast forwarding.

The majority of these tv shows are .mkv files.

This happens to me when using the web player on my desktop.

My Roku has not had this issue.

I have tried all the troubleshooting I can think of and nothing has helped. It is really frustrating.

This happens to me if the video is other than mp4 files.
I Guess that my computer is trying to transcode and it is not being able to play from a part of the film (resume), only from the beginning.
I don’t know if I had a more powerfull machine…
