# Plex freezing on opening

For some reason, my Plex seems to frozen halfway through a programme when I load open Plex, and cannot do anything apart from open Task Manager to force closing it. I can only watch it via the Plex Media Player. Any tips on getting Plex unfrozen? I have hard reset it, uninstalled and reinstalled, but nothing seems to make it work.

I’m also getting this issue on 1.41.0.2876-e960c9ca
Basically cannot open Plex on Windows 11 at all

I have black screen on start with Win 10 Pro and Plex-1.41.0.2876-e960c9ca-x86\_64. I have to kill the task to close it.
I did a program uninstall/reinstall to no avail.

Well, i found an old version… 1.40.1. Uninstalled 1.41.0, installed 1.40.1. Plex loaded, but it did that “off the screen” thing, and I had to use the Windows-Shift-Arrrow key to get it back to a visible monitor. Then, it displayed this error:
“An unknown error occured (4294967276)”
I closed it, and Plex loaded.
