# Plex Hammering my DNS

i have opted out of plex tracking as per the page here [Privacy Preferences | Plex](https://www.plex.tv/about/privacy-legal/privacy-preferences/#opd)

yet plex is calling home to analytics.plex.tv every few minuites and flooding my DNS logs

how can i stop this ?
