Plex Home Theater won't sign in on QNAP HD Station

Hi, I’m new to Plex so go easy.
I have a QNAP TS-451A which recently became redundant. I wanted to turn it into a media server and read on a website about how easy Plex Media Server was to use and setup on QNAP NAS.
I have done that successfully, PMS is running and i have added a movie and a few other bits of multimedia as a test. And it all shows nicely with the metadata.
Now, because the QNAP NAS has a HDMI out i want it to also run the front end Plex Home Theatre application via Hybrid Desk Station. I downloaded the PHT app and installed it fine. When i go to login though it just stays on the spinning sign in wheel forever. Anyone have any ideas? Am i missing something obvious? If it was network issue i would expect the PMS to not have network as they are both running from the same NAS. PHT is just a virtual machine as such?

I have a similar problem with my new TS 253Be

I installed Plex HT on HD but when I run it after the screen with “plex” written on it I just get a screen full of “search items” (see printscreen) and nothing happens

Anybody can help?

Sorry: now it works, not sure what I did I think I just press “ESC”
