# Plex HTPC on LINUX ARM64 is possible?

Has anyone been able to compile the client for native ARM64?

Development and use of ARM Linux is becoming more and more standardized, whether on “Pi” devices or even on Apple Silicon Macs (M1, M2) running Asahi Linux.

I’ve found some files taken from the AUR to compile Plex HTPC on ARM64, but I’m somewhat of a novice and gave up.

I know there are issues with QT libraries on Windows ARM, but there shouldn’t be any issues on ARM Linux. So… does the Plex team plan to support ARM with Linux? (Jellyfin and Emby have ARM Linux clients, for example.)

Not in the short term.

Your best bet is to use [https://libreelec.tv/](https://libreelec.tv/)
