# Plex IPs whitelist

Hi ,
I’m checking the connected ip on my server:
there are two ip like these:
pubsub12.pop.fra.plex.bz 172.105.245.178
[ec2-52-18-69-157.eu-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com](http://ec2-52-18-69-157.eu-west-1.compute.amazonaws.com) 52.18.69.157
What that ip is for ?Does a whitelist for plex exist ?

There’s a list of “worker IPs” linked to remote access in a file stored in AWS
(see “IPs Being Blocked” in [Troubleshooting Remote Access | Plex Support](https://support.plex.tv/articles/200931138-troubleshooting-remote-access/))… Those will attempt to connect to your server to verify the remote access configuration and status.
There’s certainly more connections when your server will look up information (e.g. when matching items, downloading metadata / artwork, streaming from online media sources.
