How is Plex identifying the episode?

How should it be named?

Is there any metadata embedded in the file? If so, is it correct? Plex might be picking up the wrong information from bad metadata.

[MediaInfo](https://mediaarea.net/en/MediaInfo) is a good tool to view embedded metadata. See [Investigate Media Information and Formats](https://support.plex.tv/articles/201998867-investigate-media-information-and-formats/) for additional information.

Please share your folder/file structure for Miss Marple.

Series based TV shows should follow the format:
/TV Shows/ShowName/Season 02/ShowName – s02e17 – Optional\_Info.ext

See [Naming and Organizing Your TV Show Files](https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files/) for additional information.

After renaming a file, follow the [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064).
