# Plex is not using hardware transcoding

Server Version#: 6.12.13  
Player Version#: 1.41.1.9057  
Plex is refusing to use hardware trascoding. I just installed a Quadro P1000 into my Unraid media server. It does recognize it. The options to use hw transcoding in the Plex GUI are chosen. But whenever do transcode a video, it still uses software transcoding. I’m using the Plex-Media-Server by plexinc docker container in Unraid. It feels like there’s just one little setting somewhere that I’m missing. Thanks for any help.
