# Plex keeps 'forgetting' my collections in one library

Server Version#: 4.47.3
I have 2 libraries: Movies & Documentaries. Collections works fine in Movies. In Documentaries, it ‘forgets’ what’s in the collections after a couple of weeks, leaving empty Collections.
Is there anything I can do to make the Collections ‘stick?’

You helped resolve part of the issue - my Documentary library is set for movies and a bunch of items were tv series, so I’m making a separate library for them.
The one that’s left that I’m having troubled with is Stripped (2014). I bought the doc and all extras, and I’d like them in a collection so the files aren’t showing up with the rest of the documentaries.

Matching it as a movie is no problem but I really want to keep all the extras in 1 collection and Plex seems to forget the collection settings.

Have you tried to add the extras as “Local Extras” and not as completely separate movies? That way you don’t need to create a collection, just for one title.

I’ll try that, this is the only thing I have that has any extras. I just made folders for Interviews, Extras, & Directors Commentary. Hopefully that will do it.
