# Plex matching stopped working suddenly

Not an uncommon thing Plex refuse to scan new movies.  
normal " fix" is the [Plex dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064).

> Move files out to where not monitored  
> Scan files for the library (let it finish)  
> Empty Trash  
> Clean bundles (Also let this finish)  
> Optimize Database (AND THIS TOO)  
> Now move it back.
