Plex Media Player (PMP) - Raspi 3+/4

Hi Everyone,

I’ve been trying to get PMP working on a 3+. I have a bunch of these running Rasplex happily but I thought I’d try to get the Plex player running on one. Tried packages but all the ones I found that worked have expired root certs and won’t connect. Then tried compiling from GitHub - plexinc/plex-media-player: Next generation Plex Desktop/Embedded Client but it refers to URLs in the nightlies or other area of Plex, and returns an error, probably because I get a 403 if I go directly.

I never thought it would be so difficult to compile a piece of software and get it working!

Does anyone have any recent experiences that could help me out? I looked for an active thread on this topic, but couldn’t find one.
