I've also gotten this error randomly in this latest PMS build and on PMS version: 1.0.2.2413. I've done a "repair" via the Plex installer to see if that does anything. Any other troubleshooting tips appreciated.

~~I'm going to try this workaround (with a slight modification), and will report back.~~

~~Workaround~~
~~1. Open Windows Firewall with Advanced Security (Windows key + R, type in wf.msc, press ENTER)~~
~~2. Click on Inbound Rules on the sidebar on the left~~
~~3. Look for Plex DLNA Server rule and double-click on it~~
~~4. Go to the Programs and Services tab~~
~~5. In the text box labeled "This program:", Notice the path of where its pointing to. click browse, go to that path, and select Plex DLNA Server.exe. (double check that Plex DLNA Server.exe exists at that Plex installation path)~~
~~6. Click OK and close the Windows Firewall with Advanced Security window~~

~~When I did this, it changed the path from 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Plex DLNA Server.exe' to '%ProgramFiles% (x86)\Plex\Plex Media Server\Plex DLNA Server.exe'~~

~~I have yet to test, as I just did this 5 minutes ago, but will report back on possible solution.~~

Edit #1 - Original work around - https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/comment/1207114#Comment_1207114

Edit #2 - Results are that the Plex DLNA Server.exe failure still persists.

~~Latest update seems to have resolved this issue.~~

Issue came back as of 8/26. Not answered.
