I use the plex pass version of PMS (win10). Up until recently I’ve started having trouble updating the PMS using the built in “update” notifications method. The update claims it has downloaded. In the past, I would select “install update”, the installer would launch and I would walk through the install wizard. For the past 3 or 4 releases, I select “install update” and see no visualization that anything is happening. After checking task manager, I can see the installer is apparently running with several PMS processes running as well. I wait 5-10 minutes but status doesn’t change. No progress indication. I end of up killing the update process as well as all PMS processes. I then manually download the lastest update from [plex.tv](http://plex.tv) and successfully install it. Is the update issue i’m referring to a known issue? If not, how I can restore the update functionality to work properly again? ---

I have always manually downloaded the latest then installed . Can’t remember when auto worked. I assume it’s a bug I d/l windows, Synology and Dropbox all at the same time . ---

Auto used to work for a good portion of time. It wasn’t until recent builds that I’ve run into this issue. ---
