# Plex Media Server error

Server Version#: 1.23.4.4775  
I was looking over the server and noticed I am getting tons of these errors. Do I need to fix anything to prevent these from showing up?

XML: error:  
XML: Start tag expected, ‘\<’ not found  
XML: status=ok  
XML: ^  
Error parsing content.  
Error parsing XML: Error parsing file.  
SSDP: Error parsing device schema for [http://192.168.X.XXX:9080](http://192.168.X.XXX:9080)

Unable to find client profile for device; platform=Vizio SmartCast, platformVersion=2.2.0-2111.0005, device=Vizio SmartCast 2.2.0-2111.

No, ignore them.

Those indicate that Plex received a message from a device on your network, but the message wasn’t well-formed. It’s pretty common and harmless.

There isn’t a perfect way to eliminate them from the logs today. Plex folks have indicated that they might adjust the logging in the future.
