# Plex Media server just closes

I did a search for ERROR - Unable to lock named mutex 9334581e-7251-4ef7-a8ec-5bfe8e89ff68: 0x80 on the forums and cam across this [Plex server keeps crashing - #5 by pshanew](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-server-keeps-crashing/600469/5)

turning off hardware accelerated transcoding my plex looks to have stopped crashing.

Will keep monitoring for futher issues.
