# Plex media server not allowing rewind

Since the update prior to the one I currently updated to, I have not been able to rewind any videos at all. I am not quite sure what is going on and with the most recent update (one listed above) I am now getting a something went wrong error. With each update things appear to be getting worse.

Update: reinstalled plex but rewind and forward still isn’t right. before I could move it to either side and it would stop, buffer a little bit and then start right where I stopped the slider. As of now it will stop right at the slider, think and then start 2-7 minutes behind where I placed the slider. On my pc this also happens when I forward I will stop it at 31:20 and it will start at 33:40 it also does this on playstation as well but is more jerky on playstation. I am getting transcoder errors along with this. Do I need to submit logs to help? If so, here they are
