# Plex media server won't start, corrupt database

Server Version#: plexmediaserver\_1.30.2.6563-3d4dc0cce\_amd64.deb  
Player Version#: Not applicable

I believe my server was updated to the above package today. Now Plex Media Server will not start. This is on a an Ubuntu 22.04 linux desktop computer.

The logs contain a message about an sqlite error.

Jan 25, 2023 12:31:37.316 [0x7efe9c4ffaa0] ERROR - SQLITE3:0x80000001, 11, database corruption at line 73948 of [1b256d97b5]

What is the quickest way to recover from this?
