# Plex Medida Server not working

Server Version#: 1.41.8

I cannot get the Plex Media Server to stay active, I will open the application and the icon will appear at the top of the desktop and then disappears after a few seconds. Anybody know what to do?

I would strongly suggest running this app from a Plex Member.
