# Plex Mixes two different shows into one

I’m experiencing an issue with the TV show _Intimate (2023)_ {tvdb-432814} in Plex. Plex correctly identifies the show and displays the right show metadata, but it mistakenly uses the poster from _Intimate (2017)_ {tvdb-376695}. Additionally, while Plex provides the correct show description, the episodes listed actually belong to _Intimate (2017)_ instead.

In short, the show metadata is correct, but the episode metadata is inaccurate. When I attempt to fix the match, Plex only finds a single entry that merges both shows incorrectly.

Is there a way to report this issue? The data appears correctly in both TVDB and TMDB.

The 2017 series doesn’t exist on TMDB, which is often a problem in Plex, because it uses TMDB as the primary source for series.  
Also even Youtube doesn’t seem to know about the 2017 series. Was it deliberately deleted by their owners?

Well, i want the metadata from the series from 2023. That does exist in tmdb. Its strange.

I now switched in plex, only for this series, to tmdb for episode airing. That works now.

These two shows were incorrectly linked on TMDB a while ago but was fixed, we seem to not have got the memo that it changed. I’ve triggered a manual refresh on our side to see if that helps, otherwise I’ll ping somebody to take a deeper look.
