# Plex Mobile App keeps disconnecting while playing

Server Version#: 1.31.1.6733  
Player Version#: 9.17.0.38861

Android Version: 13 (MIUI 14)  
Android device: Xiaomi Poco F3

Transcode: No. According to dashboard Audio + Video streams are direct, no subtitles and no “transcode” entry in logs.

Connection to PMS via WiFi (5G / 2.4G both tried), communication via LAN IP (confirmed through logs)

Hello all,

direct stream to Plex Mobile App on Android keeps crashing/disconnecting. The cause of this is not clear to me.

According to server console logs the Android device disconnects after a minute or so with no reason (according to logs).

Yesterday it worked all well. I could watch on my phone for hours, could also transfer the stream to another device back and forth - no problems.  
Today it’s not even possible for me to watch more than a minute on the same device.

To me it looks just buggy and I’m talking about a basic function of this app - the main purpose, I think.

If someone is interested in helping me I would paste log to somewhere, if necessary.

Btw: no other device or app has issues. Also, If I use VLC via DLNA on my mobile, everything is good so it’s clearly that this only occures while using Plex App for Android.

Edit: I’m talking about SD content, so bandwidth should never be the problem.  
PMS is connected via 1000 Mbit/s to the WiFi AP. WiFi works at least with 144 Mbit/s and the AP is about 1 metre distance from me and my phone.
