I am running Plex on a Synology DS416Play and it has been running perfectly since installation a couple of years ago.
I keep it up date but in the last week when I copy films over to the NAS or TV shows, they are not being detected / picked up.
I have a VIDEO share on the NAS with subfolders for TV and MOVIES.
I have checked that the folders have the PLEX user with access permissions set and have tried unchecking and rechecking the box to scan for new media but I cannot seem to get any scan working.
I have checked on the clients and they never show anything under activity and no new files are being detected.
I really don’t know what to check next.
Can anyone please advise / help ?

Please restart plex so I can see if there are any errors generated when it first starts (where this shows).
